Youth Sports Performance Training in Santa Clarita
Every athlete who trains at Elite Edge follows the same path. They start in B.I.G. Fundamentals, move into B.I.G. Motor, and finish in B.I.G. Competition. Each stage builds on the one before it, so your athlete is always training at the level that fits their age and their body.
This is the same long-term development approach used by college and pro strength coaches, adjusted for young athletes who are still growing and developing. Here is what your athlete can expect at each stage.

Youth Sports Training for Ages 8 to 11
This is where every young athlete starts, and where they fall in love with movement. Sessions are built around games, relays, and challenges. Underneath the fun, we are teaching the skills that everything else depends on: running, jumping, throwing, balance, and coordination.
Your athlete will work with bodyweight exercises and light equipment like bands and medicine balls. Nothing heavy, and nothing that outpaces where their body is developmentally. The goal at this age is not to build a bigger or stronger athlete just yet. It is to build a confident one who moves well and can not wait to come back next week.
What Your Athlete Gets

Youth Athletic Development for Ages 12 to 14
This is the stage where training starts to look like real athletic performance work. Your athlete begins developing what we call a "big motor," which is the combination of strength, speed, power, and endurance that lets an athlete perform at a high level and bounce back quickly between efforts.
They will be introduced to real strength training, always with technique coming before load, along with speed and acceleration work and conditioning that builds their overall work capacity. We check in on readiness and progress along the way, so training stays challenging without asking more of their body than it is ready to give.
What Your Athlete Gets

High School Sports Performance Training for Ages 15 to 18
By this stage, your athlete is training the way college and elite athletes train. Sessions focus on maximal strength, explosive power, and top end speed, plus drills built around real game situations so what they build in the weight room actually shows up on the field or court.
We also work on the side of performance that does not show up on a stat sheet. That means staying focused under pressure, building mental resilience, and learning how to perform when the moment counts. It is the difference between an athlete who is strong and an athlete who is ready.
What Your Athlete Gets
One Coach. One System. One Pathway.
Every stage of the B.I.G. system runs under the same program, developed by our Director of Human Performance, Robert "Coach Dos" dos Remedios, who brings over 35 years of experience building athletes at every level.
Whatever age your athlete starts at, they get the same standard of coaching, the same attention to their long-term development, and a clear path forward as they grow. This is youth sports performance training in Santa Clarita Valley done the right way.
